With great honor, Hsinchu City will host the Third Annual Indonesian Scholars Conference in Taiwan (AISC-Taiwan 2012). Hsinchu is the ‘Silicon Valley’ of Taiwan, which is internationally renown due to Hsinchu Science Park (HSP), home to nearly 400 high tech companies, including Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, United Microelectronics Corporation, Logitech, Silicon Integrated Systems, Philips, and AU Optronics.

Papers are invited in all areas related to NINE TOPICS provided below. The field of interest of AISC-Taiwan concerns all aspects of culture, information, manufacture, environment, and health.

AISC-Taiwan 2012′s topics are classified (but not limited) to the following areas:

  1. Culture, Linguistic and Social Change Study
  2. Economy, Management and Business
  3. Electronics, Automatic Control, Computer Science and Information Technology
  4. Material and Manufacture
  5. Infrastructure and Disaster Management
  6. Renewable Energy and Climate Change
  7. Environment and Sustainable Development
  8. Agriculture and Agribusiness
  9. Health and Pharmacy

    • Hi Adam,
      If your paper is accepted in this conference you need to pay the conference and accommodation fee by yourself. We as committee cannot give you an aid for this matter. Some Indonesian scholars who want to join and present their paper, in some cases they seek funding or support by themselves. Thus, we hope you can do the similar way.

      if you submit paper in group, you just need to pay US$ 100/paper, but for accommodation fee each member who want to join this conference should pay it by themselves. For accommodation fee in detail, please refer to this link (click here).

      Thank you for your question, we cordially invite you to submit paper not only for technology topic but also your field of interest. In other word, if your interest/major will not have correlation to technology, it would be ok. Annual theme have an intention to emphasize one of the recent topic and invite corresponding speaker to the conference and it will not confine your research interest.

      For entire registration will be opened until February 15, 2012 (Please see the table above). In addition, please be informed that paper submission session 2 will be closed on January 15, 2012, we extend the paper submission interval due to numerous requests.

  17. is there a full scholarship for registration, transfer cost, taxes, field trip, and accommodation outside the conference from the Minister of Communication and Information Technology?

      Unfortunately we cannot provide any scholarship/support for joining this conference. Regarding other scholarship outside, you can look for it and refer to their official website, such as Menkominfo or DIKTI.

  22. Dear Committe,
    we would like to ask you about:
    1. Admin said in Nov 14 that we can submit paper by 5 author max per group but then you said we can consist of 8 author in a group max. Which one is correct?
    2. About the registration fee. as if we will submit paper exactly how much should we pay? in rupiah please :-)
    3. Accommodation fee, is it include meal?
    4. As if, our paper is accepted. How many person should be the presenter? All of the team?

  23. Question No 2 : i hope my answer can be enough for you
    for the all of the fee, if your team have submitted your paper already and you get acceptance information from our commitee, so you can pay totally
    a. conference registration : Rp. 920 000 for student, and Rp. 1400 000 for non student–> one paper
    b.Hostel : @ Rp. 150 000 , if there have 5 students–> Rp. 750 000
    c. field trip : @ Rp. 160 000. 5 students–> Rp. 800 000
    d. Accomodation for round-trip : @ Rp 170 000, 5 students –>Rp. 1.050 000, and it is not include the meal
    and for additional question
    submission fee is different with registration fee. Registration fee just for paper registration and It includes lunch, coffee breaks during the conference and CD of proceedings, but for submission fee, include all that I mentioned above.
    So, if you have paid all the fee that I mentioned, so you don’t need to pay any fee anymore.

      • Okay, we understand that submission fee is only for paper then registration/conference fee (940) is for our conference (meal etc).

        But, I am sorry. So, how much should we pay for submission our paper? Then, when should we pay it? When our accepted or when we submit it?

          You need to pay your submission fee once you got the notification whether your paper is accepted or rejected. Please see previous comment, our registration section has informed it as well :) .
          For the sake of simplicity, we suggest you to pay it together once you got the notification from paper section since now (on submission period) you don’t need to pay any fee, you just need to submit your paper to our official email or CMT system and wait for notification.

    can I ask a question?
    actually how much we should pay for the accommodation? previously I have downloaded the form and it said that if we want to stay in vip room, we should pay 350000 but the next day when I downloaded it again, it said that vip room is cost 150000. Which one is true?

      Once our paper section got your paper result from reviewer, we’ll notify you right away by January 31.
